Anglers, if you are in search of bass, walleye, or even panfish, you will want to try these time-honored techniques.

  • When fishing at night, try using a black ½ oz. Uncle Josh Pork Jig with a black #11 pork trailer and bounce it off the bottom.
  • In extremely muddy water, try an Uncle Josh #10 Big Daddy pork frog for better visibility and more vibration in the water.
  • In high-pressured fishing water, or extremely clear water, try down sizing your jig and pork combination by going to the Uncle Josh #101 pork in green pumpkin, watermelon seed or pumpkin.
  • A #25 white Crawfrog is a great trailer to use when swimming a jig.
  • When fishing for smallmouth or spotted bass with a jig, try a #18 Mini Frog Trailer. This combination will drive the fish crazy!

Learn the secrets of catching muskie, pike, and bass with tantalizing spinnerbait and pork combinations.

  • Utilizing a #145 or #147 Porker for a spinnerbait trailer is very effective for catching bass, pike or musky.
  • Try splitting the tail of an Uncle Josh #11 Original Pork Frog to give super-added action to an already great spinnerbait.
  • For good undulating action, add the chartreuse #23 Kicker Frog to your spinnerbait.
  • Try using an Uncle Josh #U3 Twin Tail on a spinnerbait in ultra clear water to drive the bass crazy!
  • Uncle Josh pork trailers will provide spinnerbaits with a more natural, life-like appearance and allow the spinnerbait to fall at a slower rate.
